May 2021 #thatbandMOSES Recording, Touring, EPK

May 2021

MOSES and Gavin Monaghan, have been re-united at Magic Garden Studios in Wolverhampton, on a regular basis since Autumn 2020 when they started recording songs towards their second album. A spiritual guru as a producer is always going to connect, electrically, with a band in possession of soul.

Since we (Caffy x MOSES) started working together (June 2018) this band have come a long, dramatic way. Not to instant and "fickle fame fortune" fairy tale, but organically instinct-powered to a firm fan base, a rising reputation and - despite 2020 - exciting future developments in the pipeline.

The lockdown released debut, 'Almost Everything Is Bullshit' (AntiFragile Music) is an independent-media acclaimed hit that most mainstream are unaware of. I look at this as there new people to discover MOSES

Next, I will be thrilled to see their driven hard work and drive rewarded by bursting with joy live on stage again. (Pic from Modern Age at 229 by Mike Rădulescu).

It feels blessed that MOSES got to play three surreal shows last year (thank you Jean Genie, Jonny, Louise, Neil and Andy)

Autumn 2021 will be their first small-venue headline tour. A chapter in any band's tale. This one is a chronologically upside down rock opera in real time. (Listen to the lyrics of the album again. For instance "...very close to quit" was happening at the start of 2020. Simultaneously, people started travelling long distances to witness a gig.

MOSES fans are a choir of community on line and in person, sociable for soul-affecting songs that make people excited like teenagers.

"I guess we're all scared of hope...."

but "...I still believe, believe"

Spring 2021, MOSES signed with MLA (Marshall Amps new live booking agency - contact Stuart Vallans via booking[at]marshall[dot]com), then 'Move On' kicked off this year's releases receiving wide praise and healthy plays.

The world has stepped into a parallel dimension. Life is not easy. But with a realm of good souls and brilliant soundtracks in your multiverse, it's more than worth it. There's an encouraging amount of goodwill for the international creative collective that is MOSES.

June 2021 - Summer single time!
