MOSES are Guilty!
... when the grassroots music venue circuit which you grace is in peril
... when there are multiple mainstream articles about the impossibility of being a working class band.
...without a high price PR/plugger for the big playlists. (If you don't get one thousand streams then Spotify give any money you earn to the richest artists. Make it make cents!)
... being a non-"connected" band that a small but amazing gang of music fans are aware of:
Absolutely insane?
As a MOSES collaborator, I hold my hand up and say 'Guilty'
It started with a world premiere airplay from "The Most Trusted Man In Radio", John Kennedy on his X-posure show (Radio X), a week before the single release of 'Guilty' mid-May. John's support/belief is woven into this band's tale.
Writing this update two weeks into the first release, it's true to say that The Choir Crowd (i.e involved music people threads of that band MOSES) not only exists but early feedback to what's coming, is positive.
"With its glam-rock infused intro riff,
Guilty pulls you in from the start"
(Futureproof)
Thank you Music Industry talent champions, Futureproof for adding 'Guilty' to the #FutureproofPicks #Playlist
Phonic FM is a case in point with knowing soundbites when Rich and Steve played played the single and talked about the band on their MusoMusoFM radio show. (half a minute YouTube short)
The feedback from MOSES fans so far is that they dig it. Magic Garden Recording Studio is living up to it's name. Having recently worked with Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant the grand arena dynamics of 'Guilty' are comparable to "The Greats".
Matthew McCrilly's live dance beats swagger like a stadium star entrance. Awesome artist, Ruby Blue, mentions "a beat that makes you want to dance" in her review of 'Guilty'

"MOSES are a band that is built for stadiums
with their energy and songwriting."

Many thanks for all who have listened so far, given airplay or added 'Guilty' to their playlists - it all helps to spread the word. Friends with MOSES songs as ring tones. The Choir Crowd who are a part of the shows....
In the mean time, the band continue to work behind the scenes towards Autumn/Winter 2024/2025 from 100% organic foundations. All support and sharing appreciated, encouraging and lifting.
I'm still grinning at a video clip from one of the choir crowd, Eccie. His mate played 'Guilty' at the Town Hall Wrestling and got told it was "too heavy". Weight in gold!
If you play #thatbandMOSES to others, make yerselves known!
'You Need L' was played in a venue this Spring. Gavin Monaghan really is the Wizard of Wolvo with that jump-outta-speakers magick. Awards well won! So yes please to any DJs who will share MOSES tunes.
'Guilty' feels like a gateway release.
As Gigslutz noted for This Feeling Track of the Day : MOSES ‘Guilty’
"Premiered on tour in the USA to fervent response here’s the first blast of the third and bound to be big breakthrough album."
Absolutely insane? Maybe. But not alone in respect for these outsiders who simply make and perform music that lifts people. Insane true band story, to be honest.
Speak soon... What ya wanna narrate of this real time rock opera? Kudos Lisa at Knight PR!
