"It's oh so quiet..." (Bjork)
...It ain't SO quiet, though. Not behind these scenes.
It's the age of social media having it's own culture war about "Industry Plants" while social media, itself, is at risk of extinction. Simultaneously, there are still, longer-story, hard working, driven "DIY plants", I guess. They seed the #FertileEnvironment - MOSES included.
Q2 (April to June) 2023
News update:
17th April 2023 - Three years released 'Almost Everything Is Bullshit'. The "friendship cats" art collaboration with illustrator (and cat lover!) Ana Bănică is a thing of beauty.

The cat theme returned as the artwork for 'Mad About My Dreams' from the band's follow up LP of 2022.
With much of that year spent working on new songs, the results are spectacular.
The rough mixes and remixes of the 2024 songs are starting to come back from producer, Gavin Monaghan. This is the band's third time in Wolverhampton recording with The Wizard at his invitation-only Magic Garden Studio.
Some live offers have come. MOSES are looking towards gig news at the end of this year. People regularly ask. If you've seen a show, then you know...
There's a lot to put into place before next year.
The response to trying out the latest tunes live in USA a few months ago (and some early feedback from those who have also heard), feels encouraging, though.
Another is that MOSES fans send such beautiful messages of what the songs mean to them. The choir who sing along - at gigs or otherwise - people who believe. We are all part of #thatbandMOSES
It can't be a year since they headlined The Water Rats Theatre already! That venue - and awesome Radio X presenter, John Kennedy - are veins running through their story.
The fact that fans came from a couple of places in Europe and all over the country, during the first week of the UK rail strike, in the heatwave, bears witness of something special.
Imagine if the music loving public, in general, were aware that such a band existed. A level playing field would be phenomenal! That's the aim.

That pic is from Manchester where recently, the first CUP Soccer Six event (the head, Mark Abery, is a big MOSES fan) was held at Belle Vue Stadium. The 2023-2024 Music Industry #SoccerSixFest reel is soundtracked by 'That's Who You Are' from the second album 'I Still Believe! Do You?' and was recently played by Louder Than War Radio.
Ruby Blue is another vein in this musical soap opera. Glimpsed in the video for 'Cause You Got Me' she also appears in the 2022 video for 'Happy Birthday Payday' which was a lot of fun to make.
MOSES - all dynamic releases. Fact.
In the mean time since the last blog post, under the radar, MOSES continue living the stream. Their music has now passed twelve million Spotify plays.
Two fantastic LPs, with, arguably, some of their very best work still to come. Somebody will hear, get involved and give them a break.
Stay tuned/come with.
I've said it before, this is a rock opera being lived in real time. (Or, these days, should that be a surreal time?)
MOSES are different. It's not been easy. It's been worth it.
(It won't be easy. It will be worth it - and it already IS!)
Onwards, then.
Caffy. Xx
