It's been too long, but on 22nd June, amidst the madness of midsummer 2022, MOSES brought euphoric escapism to the Water Rats Theatre in Kings Cross with special guests The Great Leslie and Kill The Icon. An evening of power beat in the tropical heat.
People had travelled from around the country and even abroad to be here despite travel difficulties and rail strikes. So good to see familiar friendly faces (including John Kennedy of Radio X who has been playing tracks from the new album over the last few weekends.
His belief in the band means so much. The guru's a genuine supporter/legend.
It's the first week of 'I Still Believe! Do You?' being released. The reaction to the mix of live favouries and brand new songs getting their first live airing, emotionally sets the scene for the band to gig properly from Autumn.
The rest of this summer they are writing and demoing new material and have studio dates booked. MOSES want to be a working band.
The first reactions to the album and new songs/videos - from audience and social media alike - is highly encouraging. Can't wait for the vinyl to come back later this year, too.
Well done MOSES and thank you EVERYBODY was there in person or spirit. Images and clips to follow...
